Jun Takahashi’s solo exhibition “THEY CAN SEE MORE THAN YOU CAN SEE” is at Shibuya’s GALLERY TARGET until September 9.
The exhibition’s main focus is oil paintings by Jun Takahashi, designer of the fashion brand Undercover, which he began in 2013. Takahashi has been self-taught in oil painting in his own time, using portraits of musicians and actors who have greatly influenced his life as his main subjects.
The exhibition will feature approximately 30 oil paintings, including the “Portrait Series,” which will be exhibited for the first time, as well as figurative works in bronze.
