301inc. will officially open the bookstore “BOOKSTORE BY 301 IN NO.” on August 11 (Fri., holiday) in the space “No.” on the first floor of the CABO complex in front of Yoyogi Uehara Station, with Yohei Sanjo of ORDINARY BOOKS participating as book director.
“BOOKSTORE BY 301 IN NO.” will feature books selected by Sanjo, the book director, based on the axis of “the return of the macro and micro” for the themes of “CITY,” “WORK,” “DESIGN,” and “FOOD,” all of which 301inc. is currently interested in. “No.” is a fusion of a restaurant as a living space and a design office as a work space, and by having a bookstore in the space, the company aims to explore a “new relationship between books and people” through ideas and methods that are different from those used in the bookstore industry.
Also opening on August 4 (Fri.) next to “BOOKSTORE BY 301 IN NO.” is “CITYLIGHT BOOK,” an independent bookstore that decided to open a store as a result of its connection with 301inc.
