The world premiere of chelfitsch’s play “The Window of the Spaceship In Between” will be held at the Kichijoji Theater in Kichijoji, Tokyo, from August 4 (Fri.) to 7 (Sun.).
Chelfitsch, a theater company founded in 1997 by Toshiki Okada as a solo unit, started a theater project in 2021 in collaboration with non-native Japanese speakers in order to open up the possibilities of the Japanese language. As a part of the project, this performance will be performed by a cast selected by audition from workshop participants.
Tickets will be on sale from July 1 on Peatix and other online sales sites. The performance is also scheduled for “KYOTO EXPERIMENT Kyoto International Performing Arts Festival 2023” from September 30 to October 3. Check the official website for details.
