Rock band Boris has announced the analog reissue of “Heavy Rocks,” which will be released digitally by Third Man Records on August 18 and on CD and double LP on September 8.
The original release of this album was distributed only in Japan in 2002, and physical copies were eagerly awaited from all over the world. However, at the time of its release, a fire broke out at the factory while the record was being pressed, and the stamper was lost. The album was unavailable for many years and became a worldwide cult classic.
To celebrate the release, Boris and the rock band MELVINS will be touring the United States from August to October, with Boris performing “Heavy Rocks” and MELVINS performing “Bullhead,” both of which are important albums in their careers.
