Influencer “5sai” on Twitter today and what makes it buzz

Two points for getting buzz on Twitter

Takano: You are also involved in social networking projects for companies. I would like to ask you about how to get a lot of people to see your tweets.

5sai: There are two points. The first is, “Is the information very useful to someone?” To break it down a bit more, I think everyone is a nerd in some way. Otaku people do a lot of research. For example, if you are a home appliance geek, you may look up several coffee makers. That information is actually very useful. The person may be comparing coffeemakers because he or she likes them, but for the person looking for one, information that says, “I compared 5 coffeemakers and this one was the best” is very useful. So, if you tweet information while keeping in mind that someone’s geeky knowledge can be very useful to someone else, it can be a very interesting tweet.

Celeina: I’ve been taking notes on it! (haha) You said you have two things.

5sai: The other is the “eye” that doesn’t miss interesting things that are definitely happening in daily life.

Takano: With antennas.

5sai: Yes, that’s right. Everyone is looking at their cell phones on the train, but if you look around, you can see that something interesting is happening, and you just miss it.

Takano: I keep an eye on this. I’m scurrying around (haha).

Celeina: I put it into practice right away too (haha).

5sai: I’m always scurrying around.

Takano: That really might be the key to enjoying social networking sites. Now, I asked 5sai to choose a song that he would like to listen to with everyone at this time of the day. What song would it be?

5sai: Yes, “Tokyo” by Kinoko Teikoku.

Celeina: I love this song!

Takano: Why did you choose this song?

5sai: I really like Tokyo. It’s a place where people from all walks of life come together. For example, when I look at the nightscape, I walk around thinking that each light has a part of someone’s casual life. I’m sorry, I sound like a romantic (haha). I think this song is for everyone living in Tokyo like that, a song for ordinary people. But there is drama in it, too.
