Sting is set to bring his latest tour, STING 3.0, to Japan this September, marking his first Japanese performances in two and a half years since his March 2023 visit. The tour has already been a major success in Europe and North America, with multiple sold-out shows, thanks to the newly formed trio lineup that has captivated audiences worldwide.
The upcoming Japan dates will feature Sting performing with his long-time collaborator, guitarist Dominic Miller, alongside drummer Chris Maas, who has also worked with bands like Mumford & Sons. This trio formation promises to deliver a fresh and intimate live experience for fans across five Japanese cities.
The STING 3.0 tour is already generating excitement, and the Japan performances are expected to be equally thrilling, showcasing Sting’s signature sound and the dynamism of his new trio setup.
During his European and North American tour, Sting has been performing iconic hits from his time with The Police, including “Message in a Bottle,” “Synchronicity II,” and “Every Breath You Take,” as well as his solo classics like “Englishman in New York” and “Shape of My Heart.” Fans can expect a setlist packed with his greatest hits. Additionally, a live album titled 3.0 LIVE will be released on April 25 (Friday).
Tickets for the Japan dates will go on sale starting with an exclusive “Mastercard Pre-Sale” at noon on April 18 (Friday). Subsequent pre-sale will be through a lottery system, with general sales starting on May 31 (Saturday).
