One of Japan’s premier music festivals, SUMMER SONIC, is set to return in 2025, with dates confirmed for August 16 (Saturday) and August 17 (Sunday). Popularly known as “SumaSoni,” the festival is renowned for hosting a world-class lineup of domestic and international artists, taking place simultaneously at venues in Tokyo and Osaka.
The 2024 edition, headlined by MÅNESKIN and BRING ME THE HORIZON, was a resounding success. All tickets for the Tokyo and Osaka events sold out, contributing to a staggering attendance of 258,000 people, including those at the pre-event SONICMANIA.
The upcoming 24th iteration will once again be held at ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Chiba for the Tokyo venue and at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka.
