NiEW presents the free admission music event “exPoP!!!!! Vol.158,” set to take place on January 26 (Friday) at Spotify O-nest in Shibuya, Tokyo.
The lineup features singer-songwriter Atsuki Taketomo, known for blending pop and alternative elements in songs that have gained attention by ranking on Billboard Heatseekers and J-WAVE TOKIO HOT 100. Also performing is Eskiberu, a band with simple melodies and lyrics rooted in Japanese sentiment, the trio band tenbin O, whose debut album “Lack Of Heroism” released in December 2023 has received acclaim, and the duo band KLEPTO, known for their garage rock revival sound and multiple selections on Spotify’s official playlist “Edge!”
In addition, from November 2023, “exPoP!!!!!” will collaborate with “TuneCore Japan,” one of the largest music distribution services in Japan. Through an audition held within “TuneCore Japan,” Masaya Kudo and Kinami will perform in November and December 2023, respectively, and KLEPTO will perform this time.
