Yanagiya Aoma will respond to this theme with rakugo, while Watanabe Akira will use Ukiyo-e from the collection of the Ota Memorial Museum of Art. The two will also hold a talk session and a Q&A session with the audience.
The venue, “Nakamachi House,” is a prewar Japanese house in the Senju-Nakamachi area. It has been maintained to this day by the descendants of Yoshitane Ishide Kamonosuke, one of the founders of Senju, and is currently operated as a base for artistic activities by the art project “Oto-machi Senju no En”.
