The outdoor all-night festival ” Metamorphose ’23 ” will be held.
Metamorphose” is one of the largest all-night outdoor festivals in Japan, first held in 2000. The festival has featured a variety of genres including dance music, jazz, hip hop, dub, reggae, and afrobeat, and has featured leading artists from Japan and abroad.
For the first time in 11 years, the event will be held at “Yu-RUN Park Tamaho” in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The first artists announced for the event are Afrika Bambaataa, who has been active since the dawn of HIP HOP in the 1970s, former Underworld DJ Darren Emerson, and LOS HERMANOS led by Detroit techno scene pioneer Gerald Mitchell.
