Waraya Syutaro

Editor-in-Chief, Yosumi Editorial Department. Born in 1996. After graduating from the Department of Literary and Journalistic Studies at Waseda University’s School of Culture, Media, and Society, she became an editor for a shōjo manga magazine at a major publishing house in 2019. She joined SORAJIMA in 2024 and single-handedly launched the Yosumi Editorial Department. Currently, with just one other staff member, the department publishes and plans more than 20 titles, including both serialized and one-shot stories. She spends her days reflecting on the philosophy of print media and cross-cultural editing.
