Darea

A theater company led by playwright Takaya Takaya and producer Hana Hirasawa. Although they had been working independently, they officially launched as a team in 2022. Traveling between the Kanto and Kansai regions, they create works that explore the boundaries between communities and society. Guided by the philosophy that “social rules and norms can be transformed by the collective behavior of individuals,” they explore on stage the “moments of change” that arise from human relationships.
