The ‘KYOTOGRAPHIE & KG+ PHOTOBOOK FAIR 2025’ will take place from April 25 to 27 at Kyoto TIME’S, showcasing a unique selection of photo books.
This event is jointly organized by the ‘KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival’ and its satellite event ‘KG+.’ A total of 35 publishers and bookstores from both Japan and abroad will participate, offering a variety of creative books. In addition to these, the fair will also feature photo books from artists participating in ‘KYOTOGRAPHIE 2025,’ which began on April 12, as well as original publications. Attendees will have the chance to engage with the creators, making it a unique opportunity for both photo book enthusiasts and collectors.
The photo book fair, ‘KYOTOGRAPHIE & KG+ PHOTOBOOK FAIR 2025,’ will take place from April 25 to 27 at TIME’S, a riverside building designed by the renowned architect Tadao Ando and completed in 1984. The event will feature a SPECIAL BAR offering a selection of drinks, including sake and wine. In addition to the fair, the venue is hosting exhibitions by artists from ‘KYOTOGRAPHIE 2025,’ such as Martin Parr and Tamaki Yoshida. Visitors can also enjoy a pop-up library by Sigma on the second floor, showcasing 1,500 photo books available for public viewing.
