The outdoor music festival CHAGU CHAGU ROCK FESTIVAL 2025 will be held on June 7 (Saturday) and 8 (Sunday) at the Tsugawa Mirai-kan Apio in Takizawa, Iwate.
The festival is organized by TV Iwate, a Japanese television station under the Nippon Television network, with the theme “Bringing sound, energy, and heat to Iwate.” The inaugural event in 2024 featured 17 artists, including Ulfuls, Chikyu San Kyodai, Dragon Ash, HYDE, Hitsujibungaku, Kroi, Wednesday Campanella, and Reisai.
The name “Chagu Chagu” comes from the traditional Chagu Chagu Uma-ko festival, where around 100 horses adorned with colorful horse gear parade from a shrine in Takizawa to a shrine in the neighboring Morioka City. The festival’s name reflects the hope to create music that, like the Chagu Chagu Uma-ko festival, will be loved by people for many years.
So far, 10 artists have been announced for the festival, including Kroi, Sambomaster, GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, Dragon Ash, BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE, MIKAGE PROJECT, Rikon Densetsu, RIP SLYME, Kishidan, and FLYING KIDS. Kroi and Dragon Ash are set to perform for the second consecutive year. For Daiki Chiba (Key), a member of Kroi and a native of Morioka City, this will be a triumphant return following his performance in 2024.

The performance dates for the artists will be announced at a later time, and official 4th pre-sale tickets are available until 11:00 AM on February 26 (Wednesday). Furthermore, starting from February 12 (Wednesday), tickets can also be acquired through the hometown tax return program of Takizawa City, Iwate Prefecture, the festival’s location.
