Singer-songwriter Haruko Oishi has announced the upcoming release of her new singles “Satin Moon” and “Things.”
Born in Osaka and raised in Kanagawa, Oishi began her professional career after graduating from university, releasing her debut single “Okoranai de ne” in 2019. She captivates listeners with her beautifully mysterious melodies that reflect the nuances of everyday life. Her debut album, “Myakuko,” released in 2022, received significant attention, winning a special award at the APPLE VINEGAR – Music Award.
The single “Satin Moon,” her first new music in approximately two and a half years since “Myakuko,” will be released on October 23 (Wednesday), followed by “Things” on December 25 (Wednesday). The backing band features talented musicians, including keyboardist Yusei Takahashi and guitarist Tokutaro Hosoi, who are active in various scenes. Mixing and recording engineer Kosuke Nakamura, who worked on “Myakuko,” will continue to collaborate on these new tracks. “Satin Moon”” promises to deliver Oishi’s unique and rich atmosphere, building excitement for its release.

Additionally, a cassette featuring both “Satin Moon” and “Things” will be released exclusively at live venues and through online sales starting October 23 (Wednesday).
