The outdoor festival “EACH STORY -THE CAMP- 2024” will be held on October 5 (Saturday) and 6 (Sunday) at the Goko Farm Auto Camping Site in the Nogeyama Highlands of Nagano.
Described as a “musical paradise” where music, nature, and art converge, the festival takes place at an elevation of 1,350 meters, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the surrounding nature. In addition to live performances by artists from around the world, visitors can enjoy art installations and delicious food made from fresh local ingredients. A trailer showcasing the stunning natural scenery of the venue has also been released in anticipation of the event.
The festival will feature a total of 20 artists and four DJs from both Japan and abroad. Internationally, the lineup includes Henning Schmiedt, a pianist from former East Germany known for his cross-genre work in jazz, classical, and world music; Thandi Ntuli, a leading jazz pianist and singer-songwriter from South Africa; and Suso Saiz, a guitar player and pioneer of ambient and new age music from Spain.
From Japan, performers will include ermhoi, Shin Sasakubo, and the collaboration between Kafka’s Snore and Koichi Makigami, as well as Mahito the People from GEZAN, who will perform an ambient set under the name Mahito the PeeZZZ for the festival. Closing the festival on October 6 (Sunday) will be the arauchi yu ensemble, a nine-member group led by Yuu Arau from cero.
The DJ lineup features K-LONE, co-founder of the prestigious UK label Wisdom Teeth, who is active as a DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, alongside Facta from the UK. Domestic DJs will include Masaaki Hara and Shhhhh, who is also curating the festival.
Various ticket options are currently available, including plans for enjoying camping without the hassle of bringing your own gear.
