Yuta Orisaka released a single “Spell” on June 12th (Wed).
The song is the opening track of the album “Spell,” which will be released on June 26 (Wed.) and was newly written by Orisaka. senoo ricky plays drums, Azumi Miyata double bass, Kota Yamauchi electric guitar, and Atsuko Hatano strings, Orisaka sings, plays guitar and mandolin. The album was recorded and mixed by Makoto Oshiro and mastered by Frederic Stader. Orisaka also created the illustrations for the jacket, which was designed by graphic designer Sei Suzuki.
In addition, the music video for the song, shot/directed by photographer Masayuki Shioda, who also worked on the album cover of “Spell,” will premiere on YouTube at 8 pm on the 12th. The music video is a documentary-like film that carefully follows the various landscapes associated with the song, with its gentle undulations and airy soundscape.

When this song was completed, I felt a profound sense of relief. It’s a song like a compass, showing me where to go and where to return.
Orisaka will begin a hall tour “Spell Tour” on September 18 (Wed.) to celebrate the album release. Tickets for the shows are now on pre-reserve.
