Shinsei Kamattechan‘s solo live “Shinsei Kamattechan’s 15th Anniversary Fan Vote Special Live!” will be held on Wednesday, December 27 at LIQUIDROOM in Ebisu, Tokyo.
This live will commemorate the release of their best album “Sacred Crossing” on November 15 (Wed.) to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their formation. The event is positioned as an end-of-year compilation live performance, and all 19 songs, including the encores, will be voted on by the fans. Tickets will be available from members of the official Kamattechan fan club.
In addition, “Guroi Hana feat. Jun Togawa” from the best album will be released digitally in advance on October 25 (Wed.), and comments from Jun Togawa, who sings on the song, and Ruru Jodo, who is in charge of the distribution jacket, have been released. In addition, a trailer video for the DVD that will be included in the limited first edition of the best album has been released.

First of all, I would like to congratulate Sacred Kamattechan on their 15th anniversary, but unfortunately, I am in mourning, so I will refrain from doing so. But as far as I can say, it’s a wonderful thing!
When I think of the Divine Comedy, a line comes to mind. In the movie “Leon,” in the beginning, Matilda, a young girl with a blue bruise on her face, probably from her father’s domestic violence, asks Leon, who is passing by, “Is life hard even as an adult?
Is life still hard for you as an adult?”
Unfortunately, no matter how old I get, I will always say yes, of course it is. But there will also be more joys. It is the same for me to sing “Guroi Hana” by Kamatte-chan. I know that the 15th anniversary of Kamatte-chan means that the members are considered to be mature enough, but I am still much older than you. But even though I am much older than you, Kamatte-chan still works for me.
And I also believe that even if the style has changed a little, the core of “Kamatte-chan” remains the same.
