Born in 1997 in Nagano, Japan, he shot / directed his first film “Amiko” (2017) at the age of 19, which won the Audience Award at the “PFF Awards 2017”. The film was invited to the Forum section of the 68th Berlin International Film Festival in 2018 as the youngest ever, and was also screened at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, Canada's Fantasia Film Festival, and other festivals in various countries, creating a buzz.
