#Keisuke Yoshida

Born in 1975 in Saitama Prefecture. While still a student at Tokyo Visual Arts, he produced independent films and served as lighting director on films by director Shinya Tsukamoto. He made his feature film directorial debut with *The Contents of a Desk* (2007). For *BLUE* (released in 2021) and *Blank*, he received the 2021 Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s New Artist Award and the Best Director Award at the 34th Nikkan Sports Film Awards (Yujiro Ishihara Award). He has also directed numerous other acclaimed films, including *My Beloved Irene* (2018), *God Demands a Return* (2022), *Missing* (2024), and *April’s Margin* (2026).
