#Tele
“Tele,” the Reiwa-era trickster who suddenly appeared on the music scene. Emerging during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was selected for “Early Noise 2023,” a Spotify initiative that spotlights up-and-coming artists expected to make a big splash. Since then, they have consistently released new tracks and successfully completed the “Hakoniwa no Akari” tour, which kicked off with their first concert at Nippon Budokan on June 1, 2024, and visited nine locations nationwide. Starting in March 2025, they will hold the “How to Love an Afterimage” tour, featuring 12 shows across nine locations nationwide, including a performance at Yokohama Arena. On April 23 of the same year, he released the album *How to Love Afterimages, or About the Few Days We Spend Without a Place to Turn, in Order to Accept the Distortion Within Ourselves Born from It*. From 2025 through 2026, he embarked on the nationwide tour *Mushi*, which included a solo concert at Makuhari Messe on December 13. A solo concert at K Arena is scheduled for March 22, 2027. “Tele” is the project of Kitaro Taniguchi, a revolutionary lyricist born in the new Reiwa era on the eve of his talent’s explosion.
A definitive presence born of this era is now quietly, yet with keen intent, raising the signal fire.
