#Kohei Igarashi
Born in Shizuoka, 1983. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, in the area of film directing. His film “Breathless” (2014) was an official selection in the Emerging Directors Competition at the 67th Locarno International Film Festival. The Night I Swam Too Far (2017), a French-Japanese co-production co-directed with Damien Manivel (“The Young Poet,” “The Children of Isadora”), was selected at many film festivals including the 74th Venice International Film Festival and the 65th San Sebastian International Film Festival. His latest film “SUPER HAPPY FOREVER” is scheduled to be released on September 27, 2024.
