“Tokyu Kabukicho Tower” will open on April 14 in Kabukicho, Shinjuku.
The facility is a high-rise complex with 48 floors above ground and 5 floors below, and a height of approximately 225 meters. The facility, which consists of a hotel, movie theater, theater, live hall, and other entertainment facilities, will feature a permanent installation of artworks by a total of 26 artists.
Participating artists include Noe Aoki, Shinji Ohmaki, Mayumi Hosokura, Nobuyoshi Araki, Rinko Kawauchi, Sakiko Nomura, Mitsutoshi Hanaga, Tadasu Yamamoto, Haruna Mitobe, Sumiko Sawamura, Daichiro Shinjo, Rui Sasaki, Takuro Tamayama, Yoshiaki Kaihatsu, Tomoyuki Washio, NuQ, Nishino tatzu, Miyuki Takenaka, SIDE CORE SIDE CORE x Shobu Gakuen, Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group, Ushio Shinohara, Daido Moriyama, Takeshi Murata, Yusuke Asai, and Kiichiro Adachi.
Also, at “HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel” in “Tokyu Kabukicho Tower,” visitors can stay in the art room “GROOVE ROOM” created by Yoshiaki Kaihatsu, Takuro Tamayama, and Tomoyuki Washio, respectively. Reservations for the stay are available from April 3.
