ExWHYZ to Host All-Night Event Featuring Pasocom Music Club and DONGROSSO
ExWHYZ has announced that Pasocom Music Club and DONGROSSO will perform at their all-night event “CLUB Ex Vol.1” in Shibuya, Tokyo, at Spotify O-EAST, starting late on April 5 (Saturday).
ExWHYZ is a WACK-affiliated group formed in June 2022 by members of EMPiRE. The group debuted with the digital single “Wanna Dance,” produced by Shinichi Osawa, in August 2022, with the concept “Dance your Dance.” The group has been active as a four-member unit—yu-ki, mayu, maho, and mikina—since their five-city one-man tour “ExWHYZ TOUR 2024 ‘HOPE,'” which took place in December 2024.
Pasocom Music Club is a DTM (desktop music) unit formed in 2015. They create a diverse range of electronic music, primarily based on the sounds of analog synthesizers and sound modules. Their 5th album Love Flutter, released in August 2024, featured guest appearances from artists such as Satoko Shibata and tofubeats, and received high praise, particularly within the dance music scene.
DONGROSSO is a unit formed by rapper Mori and producer Chomo of the duo Dongurizu, along with Shinichi Osawa’s solo project MONDO GROSSO. They began their activities with the release of the single SUKIYAKI in September 2024. On February 10 (Wednesday), they performed their first live set at the Ryuichi Sakamoto tribute festival RADIO SAKAMOTO Uday, and on February 12 (Friday), they released the single MY HARDCORE VALENTINE, continuing their energetic activities.
CLUB Ex Vol.1 will be the first regular edition of the all-night live event series that ExWHYZ had previously held intermittently. In light of the announcement of the special guests, comments have also been received from ExWHYZ’s mikina, Pasokon Ongaku Club, and DONGROSSO.
