The final lineup for the urban music festival SYNCHRONICITY’25 – 20th Anniversary!! in Shibuya, Tokyo, on April 12 (Saturday) and April 13 (Sunday) has been announced.
SYNCHRONICITY is an urban music and culture festival with the theme “CREATION FOR THE FUTURE.” In 2025, it will celebrate its 20th anniversary and be held on an unprecedented scale, across 11 live houses. So far, 96 artists have been confirmed, including Odotte Bakari no Kuni, Khaki, HALLEY, Roman Kakumei, ZAZEN BOYS, Dongurizu, Kitamura Fuki, NOT WONK, Helsinki Lambda Club, Rikon Densetsu, No Buses, Shibata Satoko, and others.
The final lineup, now revealed, includes w.o.d., Hedigan’s, ALI, chilldspot, SPARK!!SOUND!!SHOW!!, Suspended 4th, She Her Her Hers, Dos Monos, paranoid void, imai, YonYon, Puni Puni Denki, 80KIDZ, Shin Sakiura, ANORAK!, Trooper Salute, Ko Umehara, Kowen (柯智棠), Huan Huan (緩緩), cephalo, Honoka (穂ノ佳), Suisei-sen (水平線), and Kogare no Keikaku, totaling 23 new acts. Together with the previous 6 rounds of announcements, the total number of confirmed artists now stands at 119.
Kowen and Huan Huan, who will be traveling from Taiwan, were selected through a joint audition held in collaboration with Taiwan’s major festival, Vagabond Festival. SYNCHRONICITY and Vagabond Festival have announced a partnership starting in 2025, and this joint audition in Taiwan is the first of their collaborative efforts.
Fuki of iVy, who serves as the vocalist and guitarist for the four-member band cephalo, and the 2002-born singer-songwriter Honoka (穂ノ佳), were chosen as the grand prize winners from nearly 500 entries in the festival’s audition supported by the music platform Eggs Pass, securing their spots in the lineup. The four-piece rock band Suisei-sen (水平線) from Kyoto and the three-piece rock band Kogare (こがれ), who began performing in Tokyo in 2024, were selected as featured artists through a collaboration with the venue TOKIO TOKYO as part of the “Hako kara SYNCHRONICITY!!” project.
In conjunction with this announcement, SYNCHRONICITY’25 has also started selling “Final Lineup Revealed and Pre-sale Tickets” on Ticket Pia. The tickets are available through a limited lottery sale, with applications open until March 3rd (Monday).
Additionally, a survey has been launched on the official SYNCHRONICITY social media and app to help create the festival’s timetable. The timetable will be based on the results of the survey, which will run until February 20th (Thursday).
Moreover, as part of the festival’s special project, a two-man live event titled SYNCHRONICITY’25 Wonder Vision will take place at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Shibuya, Tokyo on April 5th (Saturday) and April 6th (Sunday). On April 5th, GEZAN and OGRE YOU ASSHOLE will perform, while on April 6th, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION and Chilli Beans. will take the stage. General ticket sales will begin on February 22nd (Saturday) at 10:00.
