Dongurizu’s latest EP, WANI EP, will be released on Monday, February 17, alongside the premiere of the music video for “WANI”.
Dongurizu is a duo from Kiryu, Gunma, consisting of Mori, a rapper, and Chomo, a trackmaker/producer. With a love for house and techno, they create dance music designed to hype up the crowd, handling everything from production and visuals to artwork in a fully self-produced manner. Their floor-focused sound has gained attention worldwide, with their 2021 release “NO WAY” making waves on music charts in Latin America.
In September 2024, they will launch a new project, DONGROSSO, with Shinichi Osawa (MONDO GROSSO). Additionally, on Wednesday, February 12, they released “MY HARDCORE VALENTINE”, a special Valentine’s Day track.
The WANI EP, consisting of five tracks, is based on “WANI”, which was released in September 2024. This EP features a total of eight guest artists from various cities, including their hometown of Gunma, as well as Tokyo, Kobe, and Fukuoka. The guest lineup includes NAGAN SERVER, RHYDA, hyunis1000, yank, K’z Tyler, SUNNY ONLY 1, BANNY BUGS, and Skaai.
Additionally, the music video for “WANI” is now on Dongurizu’s YouTube channel at 20:00 on the same day. The video is directed by AmonRyu.
