A group exhibition by the Hermes Foundation, “Ephemeral Anchoring,” is being held at Maison Hermes Forum in Ginza, Tokyo, from Friday, February 16 to Friday, May 31.
This exhibition is “Dialogue 2” of “Ecology: Dialogue on Circulation,” an exhibition that examines ecological practices in art through solo and group exhibitions, and is a related project to “Our Ecology: To Live on Planet Earth,” which is being held at Mori Art Museum in Roppongi, Tokyo, until March 31 (Sunday). The exhibition was held in conjunction with the “Our Ecology: For Living on Planet Earth,” which runs through March 31 (Sun.) at Mori Art Museum in Roppongi, Tokyo. Taking the concept of ecology in the broad sense of “circulating energy,” the works of the four artists will examine the possibility of dialogue and the circulation of natural and human energy generated within the platform of contemporary art.
The exhibiting artists are Nicolas Flocq, a French photographer/visual artist; Kate Newby, a New Zealand native based in Texas, USA; Yoshio Tamotsu, based in Paris, France and Chiba, Japan; and Raphael Zarca, based in Paris.
Gallery tours by the exhibition staff will be held as needed during the exhibition period. Admission to the exhibition is free.
