The special exhibition ‘TRIO: Paris, Tokyo, Osaka Modern Art Collection’ will be held at the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art in Takebashi from May 21 (Tuesday) to August 25 (Sunday), and at the Osaka City Museum of Modern Art on Nakanoshima from September 14 (Saturday) to December 8 (Sunday).
The exhibition will feature a trio of works from the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, Paris, the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, and the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka, all of which are located in major cities and all have collections of modern art. This exhibition proposes a new way of looking at modern art from the early 20th century to the present day, and highlights its appeal.
