ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION’s Blu-ray “Video Works Volume 19 – ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION Tour 2022 ‘Planet Forks'” containing live footage will be released on December 20 (Wednesday).
The film includes the Yokohama Arena performance of “ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION Tour 2022 ‘Planet Folks'” held on October 27, 2022, and will be released in a standard edition and an initial production limited edition.
Disc 2, which is only included in the limited first pressing, contains an 89-minute director’s cut version of the special video series “‘Planet Folks’ 5-hour liner notes”, which will allow viewers to learn more about the album “Planet Folks”. The “‘Planet Folks’ 5-hour liner notes” is a re-edited version byHiroki Kawai of a dialogue between novelist Hideo Furukawa and the band members that was released on the band’s official YouTube page last year, in which they discussed “Planet Folks” for over five hours. In addition to the self-liner notes video, some recording scenes are also included. The limited first edition will come in a luxurious three-sided box with an 80-page booklet featuring live photos from the concert.
