The stage play “Samoyed” by Nakanaide-Dokukinokochan will be performed at the Little Theater B1 in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, from November 15 (Wed) to 19 (Sun).
Nakanaide-Dokukinokochan is a unit led, written, and directed by Sasami Torikawa as known Kazuma Inomata. In addition to their main performances at the theater, they are also actively engaged in non-theater performances such as “Immersive Theater,” in which the audience moves freely within the theater, and “Osanpo-Koen” in which the performers and audience stroll along the streets of a residential area. The company’s works are characterized by a unique worldview, centering on clumsy people, incorporating parodies of movies and manga, and creating meta devices and so on.
The performance is set in Mexico and tells the story of Marta, who has been given three days to live, and is placed in a situation where she wants to cry but cannot, until she really does cry. Written and directed by Sasami Torikawa, the cast includes Shohei Ueda, Ganz Morita, Haruka Yoshida, Eri Aoki, Masanori Iwahara, Takahiro Kameoka, Eriko Tomiyama, Muguhei Nakata, Rena Hatano, and Kosaku Mori.
【Sasami Torikawa’s comment】
Recently, I had a crying fit, but it seems I can’t cry, so I will try to make up a story until cry. My favorite Mexican food is burritos and guacamole!
