Yuga’s new song “Tooi Asa” will be released on August 23 (Wed.).
Last year, singer-songwriter Yuga wrote the theme song “Tomoshibi” for the TBS Friday night drama “Tsuma, Shogakusei ni Naru”. She also sang the theme song and accompaniment for the NHK drama “Gesshoku no Yoru wa” that aired in March of this year as Yuga with Mahou Band.
“Tooi Asa” was performed at the “Where the light leads” tour held in July and at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’23. A teaser video with a cover photo was released today, and the music video is scheduled to be released at midnight on August 23.

The night when you could have met someone by chance, you might not be able to meet them because of a little gap.
That slight “gap” could be due to timing, the weather, or a swing in your feelings.
I wonder what kind of conversation we could have had, what kind of view we could have seen, if we had been able to meet that person at that time.
The small feeling of regret for not being able to meet him or her sometimes brings us back to that night again and again, like a grand dream, and keeps us away from a fresh morning.
