KUNIYOSHI-GUMI’s stage “People that carry the wall” will be performed at Komaba Agora Theater in Meguro, Tokyo, from August 23 (Wed) to 27 (Sun).
KUNIYOSHI-GUMI is an expression team created by gathering gentle people, launched in 2015 by its leader Sakitaka Kuniyoshi with the concept of “abnormal, everyday, and surreal”.
The performance will be a collection of short stories from past productions by the KUNIYOSHI-GUMI that feature people who belong to the fictional religious group “Kabe-kyo,” as well as a new piece.
Saki Kuniyoshi will write and direct. In addition to Saki Kuniyoshi, the cast includes Kazunobu Nagai, Tateo Aranami, Anan Ando, Hiroko Kakihara, Yukako Kasai, Misato Kikuchi, Kiro, Kazeta Kurosawa, Naoko Kojima, Emi Tanaka, Shinpei Tsueda, Aki Nakano, and Atsushi Hirabuki.
