Influencer “5sai” on Twitter today and what makes it buzz

2023.4.3

#OTHER

Two nuggets of writing that official Twitter accounts should be aware of

Celeina: The song chosen by 5sai was “Tokyo” by Kinoko Teikoku.

Takano: You are a professional tweeter, what was your most popular tweet ever?

5sai: For example, I’ll read something that actually happened in my life with my son.

I suggested to my 6-year-old son, who was stumped by the addition of thousandths, ‘Why don’t you think of it as money and do the math?’ I suggested, ‘What if there were a 500-yen coin and a 1,000-yen bill in your wallet?’ He replied, “I’d be happy.”

Takano: (haha)

Celeina: Cute (haha)

5sai: When you’re raising a child, things like this happen. But I think that in every household, there are things that happen in daily life that are interesting to adults, such as outlandish answers or strange comments from children. When you think something is funny, you can put it in 140 characters and make other people laugh. I think it’s good to have that perspective.

Takano: I also feel that it is easier to get buzz if you tweet about other people than about yourself.

5sai: Well, I think it’s better to tweet about friends and colleagues who always say things that sound natural. It’s okay if it’s just a giggle, it’s hard to make people laugh on Twitter. If you try to find something that makes you giggle, I think you can do it on Twitter.

Takano: That would be helpful (haha).

Celeina: You have to keep a close eye on it. I’d like to make the “GRAND MARQUEE” Twitter page more active.

Takano: We have about 1,200 followers now.

Celeina: I really want to increase the number (haha).

5sai: The first thing I want you to think about is to tweet in a less official way.

Takano: Did you hear that, staff? (haha)

5sai: One of the things that official accounts tend to do is to break up their tweets. When a new line of text appears on the Twitter timeline, it is easy for people to skip over it because they think it is an announcement.

Celeina: What? Wait, wait. I was breaking my lines all over the place! (haha) I thought it would be easier to catch the attention.

5sai: If you make line breaks, it doesn’t catch the eye, it just skips over it.

Takano: I see. It makes it look like an advertisement.

5sai: That’s right. Also, you shouldn’t use emojis.

Celeina: No, wait a minute, wait a minute. My concept is collapsing!

Takano: it’s so helpful (haha).

5sai: I just don’t use emojis, and I think I’m a little different from the others. I’m sure people will read it and wonder what you are saying. I think it will increase impressions. So, even in the official GRAND MARQUEE, please try not using line breaks or pictograms. Just something like “Today’s rice is good” is fine.

Takano: I think we tend to use emojis on our official account, so people think it’s an announcement.

5sai: That’s right. So please don’t use them.

Takano: That was very informative.

Celeina: Now, “FIST BUMP” is a circle of friends connected by Goo-Touch, so we are asking you to introduce your friends to us.

5sai: I would like to introduce Kazuhiro Kakida, the owner of a sushi restaurant called “Yurakucho Kakida”.

Takano: What kind of relationship do you have with him?

5sai: He is the president of a recruiting company. He loves fishing, and he started serving fish he caught to his employees as meals, and eventually started a sushi restaurant. At first I taught him about Twitter, but now he is so funny that I don’t need to teach him anymore. I guess he can tweet like that because he is interesting to begin with, but I really want to introduce him to everyone and want everyone to know about him.

Takano: I’m looking forward to it. See you tomorrow. How would you describe him in one word?

5sai: He is really a “strong guy. I feel like he rushes forward.

Takano: Tomorrow, I will connect you to Kazuhiro Kakita, the owner of Yurakucho Kakida.

Celeina: Yes, “FIST BUMP”, today we have influencer and writer 5sai. Thank you very much!
