Kyoto-based emerging rock band Suiheisen will host their first independent event, Shio no Me, in Tokyo and Osaka this July. The Tokyo performance will feature Otogibana, while DENIMS will perform in Osaka.
Formed around the vocal and songwriting duo of Tajima and Ando, Suiheisen has been gaining attention for their diverse range of songs, from tight band sounds to expansive ensembles. In February, they released their latest EP Howling. The music video for the track “Sirius” has surpassed 50,000 views, steadily gaining support, particularly in the Kansai region.
The upcoming Shio no Me event is a continuation of Suiheisen’s self-organized shows, previously hosting bands like Homecomings. This time, the event will be held in a live band format with senior bands they respect. It will be the first time the event is held in both Tokyo and Osaka.
Official secondary ticket sales for the event are currently available via ePlus, with a deadline of 18:00 on Tuesday, May 6. Student discounts are also available.
