Okinawa-based three-piece band HOME released their new single “city punk” on Friday, April 18, and announced their upcoming headline tour, HOME PARTY’25 SUMMER.
Formed in 2020, HOME consists of seigetsu (Vo), o-png (PC), and shun (Gt). Blending the sensibilities of contemporary indie rock and club music with a timeless pop sensibility, the band has steadily grown their presence. In 2024, they performed at both FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL and SUMMER SONIC, and in 2025, they launched the HOME ASIA TOUR 2025, making stops in Bangkok, Jakarta, and Taipei—further expanding their reach across Asia.
The new single “city punk” has long been a crowd favorite at their shows. It kicks off with a fast-paced, high-energy rhythm and weaves in moments of psychedelic euphoria and raw intensity, before shifting into a progressive cool-down in its final stretch. A live performance of the track, filmed at the ROOKIE A GO-GO stage at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2024, is currently available on the festival’s official YouTube channel.
city punk” will also appear as the lead track on their upcoming EP, HOME EP3, scheduled for release this July. To mark the release, HOME will embark on their HOME PARTY’25 SUMMER headline tour, which will take them through Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
