INDEX
I also collect the book “The Big Dark”.
Celeina: Besides your work, is there anything else you are into right now?
Suga: Music is kind of my hobby, but I also like manga. Recently, I’ve been reading a work called “The Great Dark” by Hayashida Kyu, the author of “Dorohedoro” and other works, and I’ve been collecting his books.

Takano: You brought some of your books to the studio today. I had read “Dorohedero,” but I had not read “The Great Dark. I was curious about it.
Suga: The cover is cool, isn’t it?
Celeina: It’s cool! Stylish.
Suga: The transparent cover and paper are combined into one design, like an art book.
Celeina: Are all the books like that?
Suga: All the books are like that.
Takano: Without spoiling anything, what is the synopsis like?
Suga: There is a rumor that if you get the main character’s bones, your wish will be granted, and the story is about a group of four villains, including the main character, whose lives are threatened.
Takano: Chaotic and nice.
Suga: But I still don’t really understand the main characters’ purpose. So I’m still reading the book as a mystery.
Takano: I see. The setting of “Dorohedoro” is interesting, with the appearance of a magician and the dialogue between the characters. Does “The Great Dark” have that kind of charm as well?
Suga: The worldview is similar. There are fights and killings, but the dialogue is loose. I like the balance in a pop-like way.
Celeina: If there are any listeners who read “The Great Dark,” I would like to hear from them. Now, “FIST BUMP”, the circle of friends connected by “go-touch”, we are asking you to introduce us to some of your friends.
Suga: I used to live in Koenji, and I would like to introduce Shogo, the owner of the vintage clothing store Fukagreen, whom I met then.
Takano: This is not foreshadowing, but is this related to this sauna T-shirt?
Suga: This is an original T-shirt that we make at Fukagreen. It has “TOTONOU” written in alphabetical characters, and there are many variations.
Celeina: Isn’t it really stylish?
Suga: It’s really nice.
Takano: There is a picture of a well-dressed man and woman, and I want one.
Celeina: By the way, how did you become friends with Shogo-san?
Suga: I was wandering around town when I saw a cardboard sign with the words “deep green” handwritten on it. I thought it looked like an interesting store, so I went in. The owner was a nice character, and his selection of vintage clothing was good. We became very good friends after that, and he even provided us with costumes for Tempalay.
Celeina: So you are close friends.
Suga: Yes, we are. We originally met each other by chance, but we have been working together as well.
Celeina: I see. If you could describe Shogo in one word, how would you describe him?
Suga: If I had to sum it up in one word, I would say I am an all-affirmative man.
Takano: Let’s check with Shogo-san tomorrow. Tomorrow, I will be talking to Shogo-san, owner of Fukagreen, a vintage clothing store in Koenji.
Celeina: “FIST BUMP” welcomes Tomokazu Suga of “STYLE BAND TOKYO” today. Thank you very much.
Suga: Thank you very much.
