The alternative pop unit Peterparker69, consisting of Jeter and Y ohtrixpointnever, will release their first album, yo, on Tuesday, July 9.
The album features 10 tracks, including “Hey phone (feat. Yojiro Noda),” whose music video has surpassed 1 million views in just two months, “love it,” which was first performed at the 2023 POP YOURS festival, and “Omatcha,” a track created when Jeter half “beat-jacked” a track provided by Y ohtrixpointnever for Red Bull’s cypher project Rasen. The CD edition includes a limited bonus track titled “coast 2 coast (demo),” and purchasers will receive a random sticker as a bonus.
Additionally, a solo live show titled Peterparker69 Oneman Live “yo,” is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, at Spotify O-EAST in Shibuya, Tokyo. Special guests are expected to appear, with further details to be announced later. Tickets for the show are currently available for advance lottery reservation via eplus.
