The full artist lineup for ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025 has been officially revealed. The festival will take place over two weekends — September 13 (Sat) to 15 (Mon, public holiday), and September 20 (Sat) to 21 (Sun) — at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City.
Organized by the Rockin’ On Group, the team behind the music magazine ROCKIN’ON JAPAN, the festival first began in 2000 and has since grown into one of Japan’s largest music events. Traditionally held in August, the festival will move to September starting this year to avoid the peak summer heat and reduce the risk of heat-related illnesses.
Following an initial announcement that confirmed 79 artists, an additional 36 acts have now been added to the bill. Newly announced performers for September 13 include Aina The End, [Alexandros], Kyuso Nekokami, and Macaroni Enpitsu. On September 14, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, LiSA, and Ryokuoushoku Shakai join the lineup, while September 15 will feature performances from IVE, MY FIRST STORY, and Mrs. GREEN APPLE.
The second weekend will see performances from ATARASHII GAKKO!, Awich, Official HIGE DANDism, and YUTA (NCT) on September 20. On the final day, September 21, the lineup is rounded out with artists such as ano, CUTIE STREET, 10-FEET, and WurtS.
With this final announcement, ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025 promises a diverse and exciting five-day run, highlighting some of the most popular and influential acts from both Japan and abroad.

With this latest announcement, the full lineup is now confirmed: 23 artists per day, totaling 115 acts across the festival. The second round of ticket lottery applications is currently open via the official J Fes app, with entries accepted until 4 PM on Tuesday, June 3.
