DYGL has announced that Soft Pine and HOME will be joining as support acts on their upcoming headline tour, DYGL SPRING 2025, which kicks off in May and spans four cities across Japan.
DYGL continues to draw attention both in Japan and abroad. On February 23 (Sun, national holiday), they appeared as a guest act at the Tokyo stop of Irish post-punk band FONTAINES D.C.’s Japan tour. On March 22 (Sat), they released their first-ever live album Live at Shibuya WWWX 2024 1204 via Bandcamp, followed by the digital release of their latest single “Big Dream” on April 23 (Wed). Currently working on a new album, DYGL will bring a wave of fresh material to the stage in Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo, and Okinawa during this tour.
Soft Pine, who will join the three mainland shows in Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo, is a Bangkok-based band that has been active since 2018. Known for their laid-back, tropical sound and high-energy live performances, the band has built a growing fanbase, especially among younger listeners. Their presence in Japan has been steadily growing, with past appearances at Music Lane Festival Okinawa in February 2023, BiKN SHIBUYA in November the same year, and an upcoming performance at MINAMI WHEEL in Osaka this October. Their album Another Half has also been released in Japan.
Joining the Okinawa show is HOME, a three-piece band formed in 2020 and based in Okinawa, where they’ve become a driving force in the local indie scene. On April 18 (Fri), they released their latest single, “city punk.” HOME previously performed alongside DYGL as a guest act at the Okinawa stop of the DYGL JAPAN TOUR 2023.
