The fin. will release their new album Somewhere Between on Wednesday, November 26.
Their first full-length release in four years since Outer Ego, the album features 11 tracks, all written, composed, recorded, and mixed by Yuto Uchino. Mastering was handled by Joe Lambert, while the artwork was created by Swedish design team M&E Design.
Ahead of the album, the lead single “Spiral” was released digitally on Wednesday, October 22. The track blends deep, hypnotic analog synths with distorted guitar, creating a swirling, psychedelic sound that lives up to its title.
“‘Spiral’ is a journey up an endless staircase of desire and fear, where colors, voices, and even one’s sense of self slowly dissolve. The repeating rhythms and refrains carry you through an illusion of unending ascent, as swirling emotions—anger, power, emptiness—gradually unravel the very core of the self.”
