Former CHAI frontwomen and twin sisters MANA and KANA have launched a new music project, OKAME, releasing their first single, “Okashina Kimochi,” digitally on Wednesday, October 1.
The duo officially relaunched as OKAME on Sunday, September 7, under the theme “Revolution through Music.” The project marks a fresh musical direction, exploring a self-styled genre they call “Nostalpop,” which delves into their personal identities and distinguishes itself from their previous band work.
In conjunction with the new project, a paid fan club, Futago Club, has been established. Members can look forward to exclusive content including essays, radio programs, and digital releases.
