The urban music festival “MIND TRAVEL – KABUKICHO TOWER EDITION –,” which brings together artists from both Japan and abroad, is set to take place on Saturday, October 18, at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Originally launched in October 2021 at LOTTE ARAI RESORT in Myoko, Niigata, “MIND TRAVEL” is known not only for its live music performances but also for offering unique relaxation experiences that aim to refresh both mind and body. These include sauna sessions, shisha, massages, and original CBD products. Since 2023, the festival has moved its venue to Tokyu Kabukicho Tower.
For its fifth edition, the first lineup has been revealed. Internationally, the UK alternative rock band hard life — making their first visit to Japan under this new name after previously performing as easy life — from Leicester will perform, alongside Taiwanese artist Mandark, who blends R&B and electronic music to create a distinctive sound. The lineup also features SIRUP, fresh off a recent collaboration with hard life, YonYon, who is preparing to release a full album, and Dongurizura, continuing active projects following his independent debut. Longtime contributors SHINICHI OSAWA (MONDO GROSSO), YOSA, and TAAR will also be part of the festival, maintaining the event’s strong roots and spirit.
The earliest and cheapest tickets, Early Bird Tickets (Early Discount 1), will be on sale until Monday, July 7. These are limited in number and sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
