The inaugural Setouchi Contemporary will take place on November 15 (Sat) and 16 (Sun), 2025, across multiple seaside venues in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture. Blending music, lifestyle, and regional culture, the event will span two main areas: the LIFESTYLE MARKET at Tamano-yu, a hot spring facility facing Naoshima Island, and the MUSIC FESTIVAL at the adjacent UNO SEASIDE PARK.
Set for November 15 only, the MUSIC FESTIVAL will feature a diverse lineup of artists bridging genres and geographies. The first round of performers includes SIRUP, Wednesday Campanella, YONA YONA WEEKENDERS, and South Korean indie band SE SO NEON. The appearance by YONA YONA WEEKENDERS carries special local significance, as vocalist Isono is originally from Tamano, marking the performance as a hometown return.
Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Early bird tickets are currently available via e+ through September 15 (Monday, public holiday). With its blend of seaside scenery, music, and curated lifestyle offerings, Setouchi Contemporary aims to establish itself as a new cultural destination in western Japan.
