The first lineup has been announced for “MASHUP FESTIVAL kobe,” a brand-new multi-festival event set to take place on October 4 (Sat) and 5 (Sun) across the Kobe Bay Area in Hyogo Prefecture.
Bringing together seven distinctive festivals from within Hyogo—ARIFUJI WEEKENDERS, ONE MUSIC CAMP, PINEFIELDS, Bujiugi Music Festival, Rokkan Oto Festival, ITAMI GREENJAM, and Bakuhatsu Märchen City—this ambitious event aims to create an unprecedented collaborative experience. Each festival will host its own uniquely curated area within the bayfront site, allowing attendees to explore all zones freely with a single wristband.
The first wave of artists features 15 acts with ties to the participating festivals: PUFFY, Scha Dara Parr, ZAZEN BOYS, Hump Back, Sunny Day Service, Mowmow LuLuGyaban, Satoko Shibata, U-zhaan × Tamaki ROY × Chinza DOPENESS, neco眠る, NEKOSOGI, Insist BAND, xiangyu, Kimyo Reitaro, Toa Mafune, and Kiyomaru Togo.
The first batch of performers released this time include PUFFY, Schadaraparr, ZAZEN BOYS, Hump Back, Sunny Day Service, Momorl Gabin, Satoko Shibata, U-zhaan x Ring ROY x Chinza DOPENESS, neco sleep, NEKOSOGI, Rhyme Sisto BAND, xiangyu, Reitaro Bizarre, Toiwa Mafune, and Seimaru Togo. The lineup includes artists associated with each of the seven participating festivals.
Tickets are now available through the earliest presale phase, open until Sunday, August 3. Limited-edition tickets that include a commemorative towel are being offered during this period, along with a special platinum ticket to mark the event’s debut. High school students can purchase discounted tickets, and up to two children (junior high school age or younger) can enter for free with a ticket-holding parent or guardian.

Participating Festivals
Seven festivals—each known for its unique flavor—will join forces for this unprecedented cultural mashup:
- ARIFUJI WEEKENDERS: A hands-on outdoor festival offering live music, gourmet food, shopping, and even shuttle-included camping in the vast greenery of Arima Fuji Park, just an hour from Osaka and Kobe.
- ONE MUSIC CAMP: A leading Kansai camping festival set in the forests of Sanda City, featuring live music, summer pool fun, and family-friendly activities centered around the theme “a festival for everyone to play together.”
- PINEFIELDS: Producers of Kobe’s legendary COMING KOBE charity fest and operators of the venue Taiyo to Tora and recording studio Studio UMI, delivering top-tier entertainment with a spirit of fun and humor.
- Bujiugi Music Festival: Hosted by dining group BOOZYS, this food-and-music festival brings together top Kansai eateries for a deliciously immersive experience.
- Rokkan Oto Festival: Launched in 2022 with the vision of creating new connections and encounters, this event mixes genres, cultures, and curated shops for a fully interactive space.
- ITAMI GREENJAM: A free local festival in Itami City since 2014, bringing together a diverse range of community creators for a truly borderless cultural celebration.
- Bakuhatsu Märchen City: Dubbed the “local chameleon event team,” this festival blends live music, DJs, markets, and performances into a sensory-rich, surprise-filled experience.
