Ovall’s latest EP Silent Storm was released digitally on Wednesday, June 4.
The multi-instrumentalist collective Ovall—comprising Shingo Suzuki, mabanua, and Shingo Sekiguchi, each acclaimed as solo artists and producers—has dropped a new four-track EP just ahead of their summer festival appearances at events like FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’25 and JOIN ALIVE.
The EP features the collaborative track “Bloom feat. KIKI” with Thai band KIKI, as well as “Brainstorm,” a song previously released in partnership with audio brand FOSTEX. “Each song builds on the Ovall sound we’ve crafted over the years, while giving it a fresh update for 2025,” says mabanua.
To celebrate the release, the band has announced their first-ever Billboard Live tour. They’ll perform in Tokyo on Tuesday, September 2, and in Osaka on Thursday, September 4. Each stop will feature two sets per night, with songs from Silent Storm taking center stage.
