The seven-member girl group HANA has revealed a new artist photo in anticipation of their major debut single “ROSE,” which is set to be released digitally on April 2 (Wednesday).
HANA is a girl group born from the “No No Girls” audition, organized by BMSG, a management/label company headed by SKY-HI, an artist and producer, who is also the CEO. The group features rapper/singer CHANMINA as the producer. The members were selected in the final round of auditions held on January 11 (Saturday), where CHIKA, NAOKO, JISOO, YURI, MOMOKA, KOHARU, and MAHINA were chosen. They made their pre-debut with the track “Drop,” which was the assigned song for the final audition, on January 31 (Friday).
In the newly released artist photo, the members are seen wearing white outfits in contrast to the black and red theme of their pre-debut song “Drop.” The striking composition features the members surrounded by a red background and thorns, gazing forward, symbolizing the message of their song: “No matter the situation or appearance, we want to live strongly.” The visual captures the essence of this message, and solo artist photos for each member have also been revealed.
HANA’s debut single “ROSE” will be released on CD on April 23, 2025, with three tracks included: the title song “ROSE,” the pre-debut track “Drop,” and “Tiger,” which was featured as the audition song for the “No No Girls” project. The single will be available in three editions: Limited First Editions A and B, which come with a Blu-ray, and the regular CD-only edition. The Blu-ray in Limited First Edition A will feature the music video and performance video for “ROSE,” while the Blu-ray in Limited First Edition B will include the music video for “ROSE” as well as behind-the-scenes footage from its production. Each edition will also come with a set of seven solo trading cards, each with a unique design.
