The first wave of artists for FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’25, set to take place from July 25 (Fri) to July 27 (Sun) at Naeba Ski Resort in Yuzawa, Niigata, has been announced.
Known affectionately as Fuji Rock, the festival drew an audience of 96,000 over four days in 2024, featuring over 200 artists from Japan and abroad, including the pre-event festivities.
This year’s first lineup reveal was categorized by performance day.
On the opening day, July 25 (Fri), 17 acts will perform, including FRED AGAIN.. in his Japan debut, along with Suchmos, Vaundy, EZRA COLLECTIVE, HYUKOH & SUNSET ROLLERCOASTER, OK GO, TYCHO, ANSWER TO REMEMBER, BRAHMAN, KIRINJI, MARCIN, MDOU MOCTAR, Otoboke Beaver, PARLOR GREENS, Shintaro Sakamoto, TOMOO, and Triple Fire.
July 26 (Sat) will feature 23 artists, headlined by VULFPECK, making their Japan debut, alongside FOUR TET, Tatsuro Yamashita, BARRY CAN’T SWIM, EGO-WRAPPIN’, JAMES BLAKE, Sambomaster, BALMING TIGER, CA7RIEL & PACO AMOROSO, CONFIDENCE MAN, downy, FAYE WEBSTER, JJJ, jo0ji, Ohzora Kimishima & Ensemble, mei ehara, NEWDAD, NIGHT TEMPO, Odotte Bakari no Kuni, THE PANTURAS, RIKON DENSETSU, THE SKA FLAMES, and STUTS (Band Set).
The final day, July 27 (Sun), will be headlined by VAMPIRE WEEKEND, with additional performances by HAIM, RADWIMPS, Hitsujibungaku, THE HIVES, Creepy Nuts, DYGL, ENGLISH TEACHER, GALACTIC (featuring Jelly Joseph), GRACE BOWERS & THE HODGE PODGE, JAKE SHIMABUKURO BAND, Kaneko Ayano, Marasy, MONO NO AWARE, Ovall, ROYEL OTIS, Motoharu Sano & THE COYOTE BAND, She Her Her Hers, SILICA GEL, and T字路s—bringing the total first lineup announcement to 60 acts.
Ahead of the reveal, on February 20 (Thu), the festival teased an exclusive first-look announcement via a large screen at Shibuya MODI in Tokyo, broadcasting the first lineup reveal directly to passersby in Shibuya.
Tickets are now available for pre-sale through ePlus, Ticket Pia, and the official shop “Ganban.” The early bird tickets, offered at a special price, will be available until May 15 (Thu) at 11:00 PM.
Sales have also begun for the “FUJI ROCK go round” service, which provides shuttle buses from the outer area to the deepest part of the venue, along with access to an exclusive lounge. Additionally, applications for official tour packages are now open.
Meanwhile, the first wave of official merchandise—including logo T-shirts, wristband keychains, and double cup holders—is available for purchase via the online shop “GREENonRED.”
