The Chemical Brothers have been announced as headliners for the first-ever ‘THE BEACH 2025’ festival, set to take place on Saturday, May 31, at the beach in Makuhari Seaside Park, Chiba. The duo will deliver a special DJ set, offering fans a distinct performance from their 2024 Japan tour.
Organized by “ACiD: A Concept in Dance,” a party renowned for its events featuring global DJs and producers, ‘THE BEACH 2025’ is a new beach festival focused exclusively on dance music. The Chemical Brothers’ upcoming DJ set marks their first performance on a Japanese beach in 13 years, their last being at the ‘BIG BEACH FESTIVAL ’12.’
Since their debut in early 1990s Britain, The Chemical Brothers have become icons of the music industry, earning multiple Grammy Awards, BRIT Awards, and numerous other accolades. They have sold over 13 million albums worldwide and are known for legendary tracks like “Block Rockin’ Beats,” “Hey Boy Hey Girl,” and “Galvanize.” Their innovative sound has redefined dance music, captivating audiences across the globe.
To celebrate the announcement, ultra-early bird tickets are now available for lottery applications via Rakuten Ticket and Ticket Pia until Wednesday, January 29. These tickets are priced 4,000 yen less than the general advance tickets, which will be released at a later date.
