S.A.R. Announces Major Label Debut with IRORI Records

Alternative crew S.A.R. has announced their major label debut.

Known for creating all of their music, videos, and artwork themselves, S.A.R. blends soul, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, and more to create a diverse range of music that reflects each member’s roots. In 2024, they released their first album Verse of the Kool and held their first solo live show.

Their major debut will be under IRORI Records, a label under Pony Canyon that includes artists such as Official HIGE DANDism, Kroi, TOMOO, Bialystocks, and a子. The announcement was made during their second solo live show, Return of Kool Theory, held on January 10th at Shibuya WWW X in Tokyo. They also revealed plans to release their first EP in the spring and embark on a tour in May to celebrate the release, with performances in Osaka and Tokyo. Tickets for the tour are now available for official early access reservations via Ticket Pia.

Additionally, the setlist from Return of Kool Theory has been made available as a playlist on various subscription services. Their new song, “Side by Side,” which was debuted at the concert, will be released on January 29th.
