Satoko Shibata’s special event “Arigatou” will hold its first edition on Saturday, March 29, at LIQUIDROOM in Ebisu, Tokyo, featuring a guest appearance by Pasocom Music Club.
As a singer-songwriter and poet, Satoko Shibata debuted in 2012 with her first album Shibata Satoko Island, produced by Hiroki Misawa, which featured multi-layered recordings. She has since published poetry and essay collections, contributed to various projects, and participated in guest appearances and music writing, gaining attention both in the music and literary communities. In 2024, she will release her 7th album Your Favorite Things in February and her 8th album My Favorite Things in October. As a poet, her second poetry collection, Dive in Theater, is scheduled for release on December 26.
The first guest for this event will be Pasocom Music Club. Shibata collaborated with the group on the track “Child Replay feat. Satoko Shibata” from their July-released album Love Flutter, and also performed at the album’s release party.
Shibata will perform with a band set featuring Takuro Okada (Gt), Haruna Makiyama (Ba), Koki Hama (Dr), Yu Taniguchi (Key), and DUB MASTER X (FOH).
